How do I get rid of genital odor, what is the underlying cause?

Written by admin on July 24, 2009 – 12:48 pm -

I believe I’ve found that my body odor has been coming from the genital / pubic area – I wash with soap regularly, and shave – Is there any ways I can help to lessen the smell, or rid of it all together – could there be some underlying cause?

I noticed that i got some odor down there at age 13 but then want away… At the time i did the same thing tht u r doing, asked around online, but i finally found tht putting deodorant around it may help… It helped me, and asking around 4 me didnt reli help, i kinda found this out by myself… So good luck, i kno its sounds a lil odd but it does help

How to remove body odor from clothes?

Written by admin on July 24, 2009 – 12:48 pm -

My son plays sports – every day. His Tshirts smell of body odor. I usually wash them in vinegar and hot water – which helps, but sometimes it doesn’t get rid of the entire smell. Any suggestions?

You can try a stronger bleach to help, but if there are colors that’s out.

I sometimes spray my clothes down with this stuff called Approach. I do it towards the end of the day when I’ve had a busy one and want to eliminate any body odor that’s built up during the day.

It should work the same for you. Just spray the clothes all over with a good amount of spray and that should eliminate the odor.

Good luck!

How do you get pet odor out of your carpet?

How do you get pet odor out of your carpet?

Any suggestions? My boyfriend and I got a puppy, and now that he’s house trained, I have to get this light "scent" out of the carpet before it drives me nuts!

BTW, I’ve used Brawn stain remover every time the little one had an "accident", along with steam cleaning the carpets once already. His smell still lingers, however. Eh, gross.
I have my own steam cleaner.

I have a dog myself and I use a pet odor remover made by either Nature’s Miracle or Simple Solution. They contain bacterial enzymes that eat through the yucky organic stuff in your carpet (and it works for all sorts of other things, including vomit, feces, grass and grease stains, etc.) I also use it as a stain remover for my laundry when I have difficult stains. I would also strongly recommend the use of a black light to detect old stains and treat them because they are usually not visible to the naked eye. You have to do this at night ideally, and the black light highlights EVERY stain you have on your carpet. Just spray the pet odor remover product, saturate the carpet completely, and you’ll actually see the stain disappear before your very eyes. I have found that general stain removers don’t seem to do very much for pet odors. When buying a product, read the ingredient list and make sure that bacterial enzymes are on the list. Otherwise, the product will treat the stain but not the odor.

How do i get rid of my husbands foot odor the natural way without buying a product?

Written by admin on July 24, 2009 – 12:48 pm -

yuck, hes asleep right now, and i can smell his feet all the way from the pc,.. ewww, how can i get rid of it by using a home product instead of a foot odor product?

Naturally, just chop off his feet and throw them away! LOL!

No, don’t do that, just joking. Odor usually comes from moisture around the feet, unless he has some form of Viet Nam jungle foot fungus. The sources of the moisture are the reason for the odor. To start with, buy new or different shoes, if necessary, but look at everything else. Why are his feet moist? Most likely, a little powder will help keep things dry. You don’t always have to buy special foot powder, as a little talc that you already have can help. But, sometimes the special foot powders are better in difficult cases. Remember that the wrong type of socks trap moisture. Cotton absorbs and traps moisture, and many type of polyester also trap air. Just like hose keeps women warm even in winter, this same material is now trapped inside a shoe and sweating. Wools breath better and trap less moisture, if you can stand them (I think I am allergic to wool because it causes a severe rash on me and then the scratching starts).

Also, avoid insulated boots or shoes if you are active in any way. the insulation is meant more for those outside and standing still, such as a duck blind or deer stand.
