How to remove body odor from clothes?
Written by admin on July 24, 2009 – 12:48 pm -My son plays sports – every day. His Tshirts smell of body odor. I usually wash them in vinegar and hot water – which helps, but sometimes it doesn’t get rid of the entire smell. Any suggestions?
You can try a stronger bleach to help, but if there are colors that’s out.
I sometimes spray my clothes down with this stuff called Approach. I do it towards the end of the day when I’ve had a busy one and want to eliminate any body odor that’s built up during the day.
It should work the same for you. Just spray the clothes all over with a good amount of spray and that should eliminate the odor.
Good luck!

Bleach for the t-shirts and hang them out in the sun to dry.
Have your son apply rubbing alcohol to his armpits after showering (before apply deodorant) to help kill excess bacteria that cause the smell in the first place. After doing this every day for a week, can usually be backed off to once a week.
Then you can perform laundering with regular detergent.

Wash them with ammonia! It is great in laundry….It also keeps colors bright and gets them newer looking if they are dingy.

Of course yes! What you need to do is very easy. 1st wash it in tap water. Then rub a little of body soap and shampoo. Leave it for a little while and then wash it with TAP or COLD water. That’s it. You are done! This would have removed the body odor. And, oh ya! tell your son to put powder on his armpit and spray abit of perfume. This should help him reduce his body odor.

Soak them in laudry soap, and then wash them. Try soaking them in baking soda.
