How do i get rid of my husbands foot odor the natural way without buying a product?

Written by admin on July 24, 2009 – 12:48 pm -

yuck, hes asleep right now, and i can smell his feet all the way from the pc,.. ewww, how can i get rid of it by using a home product instead of a foot odor product?

Naturally, just chop off his feet and throw them away! LOL!

No, don’t do that, just joking. Odor usually comes from moisture around the feet, unless he has some form of Viet Nam jungle foot fungus. The sources of the moisture are the reason for the odor. To start with, buy new or different shoes, if necessary, but look at everything else. Why are his feet moist? Most likely, a little powder will help keep things dry. You don’t always have to buy special foot powder, as a little talc that you already have can help. But, sometimes the special foot powders are better in difficult cases. Remember that the wrong type of socks trap moisture. Cotton absorbs and traps moisture, and many type of polyester also trap air. Just like hose keeps women warm even in winter, this same material is now trapped inside a shoe and sweating. Wools breath better and trap less moisture, if you can stand them (I think I am allergic to wool because it causes a severe rash on me and then the scratching starts).

Also, avoid insulated boots or shoes if you are active in any way. the insulation is meant more for those outside and standing still, such as a duck blind or deer stand.

This won’t really answer your question, but you should ask someone that comes from the former Soviet Union. They know many things about healing people with what they have at home. I’m being completely serious.

Have him scrub his feet very thoroughly and then soak them for 15 minutes twice a day in a dilute solution of Clorox bleach. Be sure to dilute the bleach into a weak solution and he should rinse it off after soaking. You will be amazed at the difference.

Well… try mixing alum with distilled water. This solution gets rid of bacteria which is causing the odor. After he showers, he should shake the solution and apply it on his feet.
    Hope this helps! :) :) :)

Go to health food store & buy a product called "Chlorophyll". It is a natural body deodorizer. It will stop bad breath; foot odor; body odor.

    Lmao, this was hilarious…

My mom used to have the same problem with my dad… he confesses that he never washed his feet properly, he would just let the water run down his feet and that was it, and omg! you could smell if he took his socks off from the other side of the room lol that was soooo bad….

Anyway, after my mother ask him to wash his feet more carefully (like with lots of regular soap) the problem was solved…

    Hope this helps you! bye!

    Hi Pook ….

You have touched on a topic about manhood.

Many men think it is not manly to be concerned with cleanliness of their body parts, especially their feet.

Unfortunately, it is their partners who are made ill by the smell.

Foot odor is caused by bacteria, and bacterial grow where they have what they need … food (skin), moisture (sweat), darkness (inside shoes), and rare washings (what men often don’t do).

It is not "rocket science" , to use a worn-out phrase.

It can be tough for a male who is in the "macho" type of worldview … to embrace the idea that he should care for his body parts.

But many guys, especially since the younger culture is more oriented toward body awareness, will accept new ideas and become ok with giving attention to their feet.

Basic foot hygiene can include … very thorough laundering of socks, possible changing socks twice a day, wearing a pair of shoes only once every 3 days, using an antibacterial spray in shoes, using a washcloth and soap to thoroughly wash between toes and all over the skin surface of one’s feet, trimming toenails carefully, cleaning under toenails, and wearing sandals when it’s warm enough.

    Hope this helps.

well, odour builds up in shoes. he may just have to get new shoes to begin with, if you don’t want to try something to put into them. wearing cotton athletic socks instead of thin, polyester dress socks is imperative. might help if he didn’t wear shoes any more often than he has to.

Why don’t you try some spray or deodorant, maybe even some better/newer footwear.
