it’s not unusual for guest to come over to my house, step in cat feces, and leave?

Written by admin on October 4, 2010 – 3:59 pm -

most of the time i don’t like cleaning out the cat litter box (i forget, or i just get lazy) so the cat will go on the floor, my cat has loose stool so to avoid cleaning it i rub it in the carpet with my slippers, however…now i’m starting to regret doing so because i only have 1 friend that will come over that doesn’t complain, i tried having a cookout this weekend and the people who came stayed for 5 minutes, didn’t eat, and didn’t give a reason why they left. I feel it’s the stains in the carpet, now that i’ve learned my lesson for real, is there any good remedies for stain and odor removal…not so much as stain removal because my carpets are brown, but there def. no need to replace the carpet because there’s only 14 pile stains, any help would be greatly appreciated, I feel i can’t ever have people over anymore. please help, i’m desperate!

How do I clean a shaggy rug and get the “wet dog” odor out?

Written by admin on March 1, 2010 – 11:11 pm -

I got a rug for free, but it smells like a dog… Its a very soft shag type rug… not like a flokati.

How can I clean it and get the odors out?

Is there a way to do this withoug renting any equipment?

I took it outside and tried to clean it with a hose and some soap… wich made me feel better, but I can still smell a yucky wet dog odor.

What should I do..?

Its a really nice rug aside from the odor… with no strange foreign objects caught in the nap or anything like that!

How do I eliminate general cat odor from an otherwise very clean townhouse?

Written by admin on February 13, 2010 – 9:58 pm -

I just moved into a three story apartment. The top and bottom floors are carpeted, and the middle is hardwood. The owner (who is also the previous resident) had a cat, and the whole place still has a general cat odor. The carpets have been professionally cleaned, and all the furniture is mine so it’s not coming from there…

Any ideas on how to make my apartment not smell like a cat?
