most of the time i don’t like cleaning out the cat litter box (i forget, or i just get lazy) so the cat will go on the floor, my cat has loose stool so to avoid cleaning it i rub it in the carpet with my slippers, however…now i’m starting to regret doing so because i only have 1 friend that will come over that doesn’t complain, i tried having a cookout this weekend and the people who came stayed for 5 minutes, didn’t eat, and didn’t give a reason why they left. I feel it’s the stains in the carpet, now that i’ve learned my lesson for real, is there any good remedies for stain and odor removal…not so much as stain removal because my carpets are brown, but there def. no need to replace the carpet because there’s only 14 pile stains, any help would be greatly appreciated, I feel i can’t ever have people over anymore. please help, i’m desperate!

Is it possible to remove cigarette smoke odor from a mattress?

I have the opportunity to buy a mattress set for a wonderful price, but the current owners smoked in bed. I have a non-smoking household and do not care for smoke odor. Will it be possible to remove the odor? If so, how can it be done and how long does it take?

I live in an apartment, and my downstairs neighbors smoke (not just cigarettes, unfortunately). I do not. Now, my closet stinks of cigarette smoke, as do all of my clothes. Is there anything I can do to remove the odor from my closet, and a way to de-stink my clothes without having to launder them all? I’ve tried odor absorbing candles and Febreeze to no effect. Please help!
